Vivian & Cristina

So yesterday we said good-bye to our final exchange student. What an incredible 6 weeks it has been. Two days after Sophie (our exchange student from France) left, our family welcomed Vivian & Cristina. Vivian is from Taiwan, and Cristina is from Spain. These two very talent young ladies fit into our family like they have always been part of us. Our family had a blessed time with them both. We enjoyed, beach days, bowling, miniature golfing, game nights, (by the way I never won a game of Uno- very unlike me). Honestly looking back I am amazed all that we did fit in, the 2 ½ weeks they were here. Placing all that we did aside, they were here to learn about our amazing country and culture.

But in turn, through this experience, God revealed and taught us things while they were here. For this we are forever thankful. The only thing that we do not like about this program is the good-byes. So with that being said, Vivian & Cristina see you after a while. Until we meet again, we will always cherish the memories our family was able to share with you both.
Love, David
~It amazes me how God reveals Himself in the quietest of ways~

These past few have been amazing and busy hosting exchange students from various countries. We had the pleasure of having a student from France, Taiwan, and Spain. Each unique and very special in her own way. Sophie was gentle, quiet and sweet.
She had a contagious laugh that would make you want to join in.
Especially if we talked about the "I love you" story from the bus ride to Clearwater.
Vivian was always full of questions, fun and laughs as well. She had such a sweet heart and always wanted to do something new like trying makeup or a dance for the disco. And she was never afraid to try a new food. Even if that meant spitting it out at the table :)
Cristina had a sweet, calm loving nature. She always wanted everyone to fill loved and included in every activity we did. She has the heart of a mother!

As I describe the girls, I miss them so but was left with the greatest gift. Not just the memories but also the quiet reminder that it doesn’t matter what you drive, where you live, what you wear or who you know. Just the people you able to love and the people who love you.

To all of our girls near and far,
(Marisa, Jasmine, Maria, Jocelyn, Sophie, Vivian & Cristina)
We love you and always pray that you be reminded of that each day!
Remember to, LIVE WELL, LAUGH OFTEN & LOVE MUCH
Keep in touch and don't forget.............. Your greatest journey starts with a single step!!
Love Always, Jen
